Bocconcini Mozzarella di Bufala

Bocconcini is an Italian cheese from Campania. It is a mozzarella-style cheese about the size of an egg, made from water buffalo milk or a mixture of buffalo and cow's milk. These small rindless balls are semi-soft, creamy and elastic in texture, with a mild, buttery and slightly sweet flavour. The name bocconcini means "small bites" in Italian, referring to the shape of the cheese. Enjoy them fresh or add them to pizza or vegetable dishes. Serve with white wine.
