Albano Delikateses is an Italian family business in Riga run by the Albano family. Only members of our family work here – Italians who personally look after the shop, the products and our customers every day.

Our story

We are an Italian family who have chosen Riga as our home and want to share what we know and love: authentic Italian food. Albano Delikateses was born from a desire to bring to Riga the flavours and products of Italy that we know from our everyday lives and traditions.

The authentic taste of Italy

Our aim is to offer an authentic taste and atmosphere of Italy in Riga. We select products from different regions of Italy and strive to offer our customers items that are not always available in ordinary supermarkets.

More than an ordinary shop

Albano Delikateses is not an ordinary supermarket. We focus on high-quality Italian delicacies, artisanal goods and specialty products. For us, it matters not only to offer a product but also to know where it comes from and what makes it special.

Our product selection

Our selection includes Italian cheeses, cured meats, artisanal pasta, olive oil, tomatoes and other delicacies, truffles, sweets, Sicilian cannoli, tiramisù, gelato and many other products from different regions of Italy.

Fresh Italian products

Fresh Italian products have a special place in our selection – burrata, stracciatella, mozzarella di bufala, ricotta and other fresh cheeses. We make sure these products reach Riga under the right temperature conditions, preserving their quality and freshness.

We select our products ourselves

We do not choose products simply because their packaging says “Made in Italy”. What matters to us is a product’s origin, quality and, above all, taste. That is why we carefully select our products and seek out lesser-known Italian producers and specialty products from different regions of Italy.

Because Albano Delikateses is a family business, we look after the shop ourselves and meet our customers every day. We want to create a friendly atmosphere where you can not only buy Italian products but also chat, ask questions and learn more about Italian food.
