Terms and Conditions

Latvian law requires online store owners to specify the terms for the delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. These terms constitute a distance contract (Cabinet regulations).

Distance contract

The seller of the goods offered in this online store, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, on the one hand, and the person placing an order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order.

Delivery and payment terms

The Buyer orders goods through this website, specifying the type and quantity of goods ordered. The Buyer may pay for the goods using the payment tools integrated into the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller for the order and sent to the Buyer by email. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.

The Seller ensures delivery of the goods within 14 days of receiving payment for them, or agrees on a delivery time with the Buyer.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods by sending the Seller a notice of withdrawal. The Seller will email the Buyer a withdrawal form upon request.

The Buyer must return the goods to the Seller within 7 days of sending the notice of withdrawal. The Buyer bears all costs associated with returning the goods to the Seller.

The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:

  • the ordered goods cannot be returned due to their nature, or they are perishable or quickly consumed;
  • the ordered goods were made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order;
  • the Buyer has opened the packaging of an audio recording, video recording, or computer program.

Section 12, Paragraph six of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer is responsible for preserving the quality and safety of the goods during the period for exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer the exercise of the right of withdrawal or to charge compensation if the goods have been damaged through careless handling during use or failure to follow the instructions, if the original packaging has been lost, or if the packaging is substantially damaged.

Data processing

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree that the data they provide will be used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of Latvian law. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees to receive notifications related to the processing of their order at the email address provided.

Retail alcohol sales hours shortened by four hours, and even more on Sundays

From August 1, the hours for retail alcohol sales in stores and online have been shortened. Specifically, alcohol may be purchased from 10:00 to 20:00 Monday through Saturday, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.

Under the amendments, the restrictions do not apply to retail outlets where alcoholic beverages are sold only on draft and consumed on the premises, or to duty-free shops.

Selling alcoholic beverages for takeaway or delivering (handing over) alcoholic beverages outside the permitted hours will result in a fine of up to 70 euros for an employee of a legal entity (a courier or other delivery person), and from 70 to 1,400 euros for the legal entity.

At the same time, a provision comes into force allowing alcoholic beverages purchased through a website or mobile app to be delivered (handed over) to the Buyer no earlier than six hours after the order is placed.

Failure to comply with this provision will also result in a fine of up to 70 euros for a courier or other delivery person, and from 70 to 1,400 euros for the legal entity.
